What Bella teaches
Gigi and Angie respect Bella’s boundaries completely. They keep her favourite food ready, and they cuddle her only when she comes and asks. They know she loves them dearly – this is simply who she is, and that is perfectly okay. Being loved just as you are is the safest feeling in the world.
Ask first
Your body is yours. It’s okay to say “not now” – and just as important to ask others before a hug.
Self-discipline
Knowing what you want, and waiting for what’s worth it. Standards are a kind of strength.
Martial arts
Balance, focus, and control — real strength is gentle until it needs not to be.
Swimming
“On a planet that’s mostly water, you’d better learn to swim.” Brave in the deep end.

Bella’s Lullaby
Hi-YA! went the warrior – plop! – right in the blanket, time to stop.
Even brave ones, fierce and steep, need a little warrior sleep.
Rest your paws, my mighty knight, you’ll pounce and splash again at light.

How is Bella SO strong, SO zippy, and SO sparkly-shiny? Her brothers and sisters are convinced she must be magic… 😹
HINT: Bella forges her own path and does what she pleases – but she always listens to Mum and Gigi, because she knows they only ever want what’s best for her. She has standards, too: only the finest chicken and the freshest tuna will do. If it isn’t up to scratch, she simply… won’t. And that’s that.

The Pet Babies family at a glance: Mama Angie gave the world six precious kittens in two beloved litters. Lilu and Eddie (Edward the Razor Hands) were born November 1st – the older pair, the big siblings. Next year, a few months later, on February 25th, Bella, Lulu, Nole, and Chrissy (originally named Christian) arrived – four little wonders who joined the family already adored by their two older siblings. Sharing their Manchester world is the dignified elder cat Cleopatra, “The Shadow” – a queen who teaches everyone the gentle art of respecting boundaries.
